Event Description
The University of West Georgia Theatre Company voyages into the sea of William Shakespeare’s Pericles. Guest director, Andrea Frye, sets Pericles in Africa, Haiti, Cuba, New Orleans, and the Gullah Islands. The exotic, colorful settings enthrall as we venture into a fairytale world where good vs. evil is explored. Pericles faces challenges that shape him into a new man as he goes through the successes and setbacks that are a part of life. The scenery will take you all over the world in its epic design. |

Admission Information:
Sail into the world of Pericles from October 3-6 at 7:30pm and October 6th and 7th at 2:30 in the Townsend Center for the Performing Arts Main Stage Theatre. There will also be a Community Preview October 2nd at 7:30 pm for a discounted ticket price of $3. Tickets for all other performances are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors.
