| 3rd Annual Multicultural Festival 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Office of Institutional Diversity (OID) and the Anthropology Department at the University of West Georgia are pleased to announce the third annual “Multicultural Festival” to be held on Thursday, March 15, from 12:00- 5:00 p.m. in the Campus Center’s Ballroom. The Multicultural Festival is one of OID’s signature programs and is designed to provide knowledge of other cultures and build partnerships with various external multicultural communities. The festival will consist of cultural displays, entertainment, and food. Performances and other activities will include the Chinese Lion Dance, African drumming, South African dancers, Bamboo Flute instrument, Belle and Middle Eastern Dances, Indonesian traditional dances, Liberian traditional dances, Native American dances, Calligraphy workshop, African American, and Asian arts, and opportunities for Henna tattoos by Elegant Henna. Additionally, there will be speakers from various Consulate-General Offices in Atlanta. For additional information, please call the Office of Institutional Diversity at 9-5400. This event is free, and the public is invited. |

Anime Otaku Incorporated would like to present our 1st annual White Day Ball. In Japan, White day is the day where the people that received gifts on Valentine's Day, give gifts back to the givers an March 14th. Anime Otaku Incorporated wants to share that experience and is hosting a White Day Ball on March 15th 2012 at from 7-11pm. Doors open at 6. Snack and drinks are provided. |
