UWG Trails Beautification- America Recycles Day

America Recycles Day is a national event that promotes and provides awareness about recycling. GREAN along with Latino Cultural Society will be sponsoring a Pledge to Recycle Drive. There will be various tables around campus were you can take the pledge to recycle. In the afternoon, there will be service projects on the UWG Trails. Join us as we maintain the trails; by painting trail markers, clearing the trail pathways and around the benches. Meet at the UWG Track (located behind Arbor View Apartments). Presidential Leadership Series - Mike Greene


C. Michael Greene is a UWG alumnus with a degree in business, and also holds a doctorate in music from the University of Southern California. He is the founding president and CEO of Arts Tribe and a former CEO of the Grammy Awards. 

His most recent project is The Girls in the Band, a documentary that tells the stories of female jazz and big band instrumentalists from the late 30's to the present day.

Anime Otaku Incorporated is hosting our 3rd annual Kiba Bass Rave. The Kiba Bass Rave is our annual dance party with glow sticks and black lights and professional DJs. This year we have the Exhilaration DJs spinning on the one’s and two’s! The Exhilaration DJs are a collaborative group of three DJs and producers who specialize in techno and hypercore. Their mission is to spread their love of Hardcore around the USA as they play their own tracks as well as tracks from the leading Hardcore producers in the rave scene. This year we have the Exhilaration DJs spinning on the one’s and two’s! The Exhilaration DJs are a collaborative group of three DJs and producers who specialize in techno and hypercore. Their mission is to spread their love of Hardcore around the USA as they play their own tracks as well as tracks from the leading Hardcore producers in the rave scene. Named in honor of professor emeritus Chester Gibson, the Gibson Public Speaking Contest showcases the talents of outstanding student speakers on our campus. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the contest, the program will include a brief tribute to Dr. Gibson for his outstanding service to our university.
